World of Warcraft – A Priest’s Road to 120 Raiding.

Currently, I’m a level 92 Priest, I have multiple World of Warcraft characters at 120 but not one is a Priest. I swap out characters that I feel like ‘maining’, with my Paladin being my go-to character and I pretty much just Tank at the moment. Once in a while, I play my Priest and I love it.

My current goal is to get into a guild that raids. It’s been years since I’ve raided and I really want to experience that thrill of working together and finally downing a boss.

I don’t think I can handle raiding as a main or off-tank, it’s too much responsibility and work. As a healer, there is a good sense that you can tactically heal, when and where to do it comes into play and getting that rare upgrade from it is what I want / and am ready to experience. But first I need to make it to 120 and then upgrade my gear until I’m ready.

Blizzard is dishing out an extra 100% experience buff, and stack it with the War Mode (+%25) and then the heirloom gear buff, it should bring us close to about 200%+ total.

As I journey to 120 I meet good people along the way. Sometimes a group can just ‘click’ and everything goes perfectly. Whether it’s the tank doing his job well and pulling fast and a lot at once, which in turn keeps me on my healing game. Usually, at times I get bored healing and so I help DPS mobs down.

There are times though, in which the Tank knows what he’s doing and he pulls the right amount at the right time and gives me no time to DPS. These are the times that I love playing WoW.

On Thursday, April 2nd, 2020, I spent about 2000 in gold just to get a single ilvl point (from 321 go 322) just to unlock one more dungeon that I haven’t played before. It was well worth it too. I was put into a fantastic group. If you’re reading this, know that I had a great time, also post a comment if you can on this post.

Our Group in Action!

The pulls were a lot, the timing was steady, I barely had time to mana up between pulls, which keeps it interesting to me. Sometimes after a battle, I’d eat a conjured item while I let the group DPS for a little bit until I was ready to jump back into the healing game.

Everyone brought their best into the Dungeon. We didn’t wipe at all and we were all in sync. Unfortunately getting groups like this is the exception and not the norm. Either way, I had a great time and would like to reach out to the people I grouped with. Leave me a comment and a way to get in touch with you, so we can play again!
