Scout Valory and had soldiers have finished the inspection of the site near her Howling Fjord camp. Nearly everyone died and only a few Veteran Guards remain, but they are unaccounted for. Sounds of a skirmish are coming from up the hill, and my task is to go have a look. I’ll have to be very stealth-like.

I found Valory’s soldier, he was in a house, and he was dead. Upon looking closer I noticed a journal. It’s writing style appeared to be a dwarf on his deathbed.

The journal said, “These bloodthirsty monsters have taken up residence in the ruins of Wyrmskull.” What they want and why they’re here is a mystery. In any case, the artifacts are not safe with those beast-men around.

Pulroy and his friend Zedd had made a new discovery, while hiding out. They discovered a cipher to decode the tablets(useful tablets that contain alot of information). Pulroy and Zedd were seperated somehow in the night. Zedd had the cipher, and the Tablets were with Glorenfeld and Daegarn. Things are getting interesting around here.

The first body I discovered was from Zedd. He didn’t have a cipher with him but upon further investigation, there were words in the dirt around him. It said “Glor and Dae inside catacombs. Have cipher and tablets.” There are catacombs just north of my location. I’d make my way there. Hoping that both dwarves were, in-fact, alive.

Inside the catacombs I quickly found Glorenfeld, he said Pulroy and Zedd were dead, and then he said “and Daegarn” He was taken by the Dragonflayer chieftain further deep. Glorenfeld said he heard someone say something about a sacfrice to the “Dread King”. A little humor is needed in these dark times and Dae provided it. Daergarn had the cipher with him, it was in his beard.

I collected the ten tablets and presented them to Glorenfield. Next up is trying to save Daegran’s life, and recover the cipher that will help us decode the meaning behind these ancient relics.

Glorenfield told me where to find Daegarn. Through the corridor and then down a set of steps. Locked up tight. Daegarn was locked up but no soldiers were around him, but he didn’t have the cypher. His beard was the first place the beasts checked.
Oluf will come out if I defeat the other gladiators. That’s about the only way we can get the cipher back. I’ll have to go to the Ring of Judgement and battle. If I did win and got the cipher back, I was to bring it back to Glorenfeld.

So it was done, I defeated all of my opponents in the Ring of Judgement, the adventure was complete. The cipher and the tablets were in the right hands. All that was left was to return to Valgarde and give them to McSorf. As soon as I arrived to Valgarde, I went straight to Beltramd McSorf. He said it would take a while to sort out the tablets, I was satisfied and eager to find out what they said. Mcsorf told me to bring the tablets and ciphers to Stanward over at the Explorer’s League Outpost.

He gave it a look over and and the tablet was a piece of stupid recipe for stew. There were markings of it and everything. Fortunatley all did not go to waste. the cipher he retreived could be used to crack the stuff Stanwad and his crew dug up. My work was done, off to Dragonblight I went.
