Ah, free falling. I’ve always loved big, long, falls. It started with The Pit in Mortal Kombat, and from sky diving in Pilot Wings to the opening scene of The Matrix Reloaded. AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! For The Awesome takes free falling and makes it a whole, fun, game experience.
Here are two games that are somewhat similar to Free Falling.
In AaAaA!! the goal is to base jump and and stay close to buildings, this is what the game calls “Hug”. There are a lot of buildings near each other so you must choose where to hug on the fly. Also, there are semi-transparent squares with scores in them, flying through them earns you points. There are bridges with people on them in red and blue colors. You right click the red people to flip them off (gaining more points) and you give a peace sign by left clicking. This adds more ways of scoring and competing against other players.
Loaded with tons of levels, at least 100 – 200 of them, all represented with a kind of wacky flair. There are meditation levels, including one with a picture of a cat, and it all comes together nicely. The in-game currency is “Teeth” and as in most games, you get more from completing levels. Early on you get tons of points but they become increasingly hard to earn.
With that said, I recommend this game, earning a silver trophy.
Moço has held a controller ever since the Atari 2600 days, to the current PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X.
