Chapter 17 – Entry #1- Nagrand
Thrill of the Hunt
Level 64 – 66
Nagrand is a beautiful place, sun-soaked prairies and plains. It’s the perfect land, opposite from the cosmic Hellfire Penninsula, the dark blue toned Zangamarsh, and the battered Trees of Terrokar Forests. For me it’s my favorite place, and I don’t think I can beat it, whoa-oh-oh it’s magic, and I think I’ll stay awhile.
Thrill of the Hunt
I was out exploring Nagrand, farming quests, killing beasts. My next stop was Nesingwary Safari. There I met Nesingwary himself. He went on to tell me if I wanted to “earn” a place there, I’d have to prove myself. That was fine by me.
So, I went around killing aka ‘hunting’ all types of animals, winddrocs, clefthoofs . and Talbuk Stags. Just to name a few. After killing what I needed to, I reported back to Nesingwary. He was very impressed, and his next task was to hunt the most elusive clefthoof in Outland and the hairiest. She walks with her tribe so getting to her would prove to be tough. I had to think carefully with this one. I decided I’d watch her for a while to see her habits. Keep a low profile to find out the best opportunity to strike.
Shado ‘Fiitz’ Farstrider, another hunter from the Safari also had one last hunt for me. This one was as he put it “The mother of all windrocs, Guttripper”. This one too, I would have the same level of prearrangement as the clefthoof. These are all big game hunts.
Finally, Harold Lane the last of the Nesingwary bunch had something more to do. He was sick so he needed me to fill in for him, which I was glad to do. This too was a big hunt, Bach’lor king of the stags. I’m starting to see a pattern here.
While searching for the Tulbok Bach’lor I came across an area filled Fel-Demons and the ground which their base was on, was of the blackest of the black territory. I’d stop here and destroy them, they don’t belong here. That’s exactly what I did too, maybe they would a lesson.
I went back to the Nesingwary Safari to report my killings. Shado ‘Fitz’ Farstrider was happy for me, he said I can now count myself among the Elite Safari Hunters.
Moco has held a controller ever since the Atari 2600 days, to the current PlayStation 4. Ever since I was little I loved to write, so here I am doing what I love most. Only second to actually playing them, I’m writing about Video Games. So stay a while and listen, you might just like what you read.
